If you're a NICE Frame user above five-foot nine, you've noticed that the frame's load lifters don't raise the shoulder straps enough to fully transfer the weight of the pack onto your hips. Our Load Lifter Panel (patent pending) is a NICE Frame extension that raises the height of the load lifters one to six inches, allowing the frame to accommodate virtually any torso length with unprecedented comfort.

Made of mil-spec webbing and hardware with carbon fiber stays, the Load Lifter Panel is built to withstand the toughest conditions while maintaining a dependable level of performance.
The Load Lifter Panel attaches to the two female load lifter buckles on the top of the NICE Frame. An attachment strap wraps around the front of the frame, and two additional attachment straps attach to the center bar of the NICE Frame, allowing the frame and Load Lifter Panel to behave as a single unit. A significant increase in comfort and functionality, all at a weight increase of only ten ounces.

What exactly does it do?
The LLP provides additional lift and stability for the shoulder straps, especially when the yoke is adjusted above the top of the frame. It's similar to lengthening the frame itself, but without increasing how high a pack rides on the frame.
What packs are the Load Lifter Panel compatible with?
The LLP will work with virtually any pack that fits on the NICE Frame, to include ALICE and USMC FILBE packs. It is not designed to work with Mystery Ranch packs that feature an internal frame extension (though the Wolfpack/Wolf Alpha can be used with the LLP as long as the pack's internal framing component is not utilized).
Will it work with a Load Sling?
Yes, though the uppermost Load Sling buckles will connect to the outer top female buckles on the NICE Frame.
Why doesn't the LLP raise the height of a pack on the frame?
Initially, that's what we wanted. It didn't work well in testing. See this link to read about the different prototypes we tested.
